Transfer Gentoo Mirror to Gentoo.in.th

Gentoo I have registered new domain name for hosting Gentoo mirrors and some Gentoo support infrastructure in Thailand.

I will start moving Gentoo mirrors from mirrors.64hosting.com. In fact, Currently, we using backup server for Gentoo mirrors because our primary mirror server was down because hardware failure a month ago and I did not replaced it yet.

There will be at least Gentoo Distfiles/ISO Mirrors for x86, amd64, mips and arm available on our mirrors. Portage rsync also planned to be available. This server will became rsync2.th.gentoo.org soon.

New server is dedicated for gentoo (and may be other distros) mirrors. And same as old server, We use bandwidth of CAT-IDC datacenter which fast enoungh for Thai and SEA people (... I can download gentoo from my server faster that from local provider in Singapore ... Haha !).

For other distros that I am surely to mirrors those is

  • Sabayon (released versions only)
  • SystemRescueCD (released versions only)
